IGM specimen numbers?

Posted by dinohunter1 on 15 Jun 2012 at 05:45 GMT

I noticed there is no mention of the IGM specimen numbers. I was under the impression that some of the M. laticaudus specimens were sent to Mexico (and I did study them in 2000 in Mexico) but no mention in the text. Were those specimens sent back to the LACM?
IGM is listed only once, and there is one mention of the University of Mexico.

Here are the numbers that I have from the IGM and compared to the LACM. I believed I wrote the IGM numbers down when I was there for the 2000 SVP.
So, why no mention of the IGM numbers?

IGM 5844 (formerly LACM 17712): 6 anterior, dorsal vertebrae and molds of scales.

PRIETO-MARQUEZ, et al,. 2012 LACM 17712: Dorsal vertebra and numerous integumentary impressions.

IGM 5845 (formerly LACM 20874): Left ilium, left ischium, left and right pubes, left tibia.

PRIETO-MARQUEZ, et al,. 2012 LACM 20874: Partial left dentary, nearly complete dorsal vertebrae, three caudal dorsal centra, 13 fragments of dorsal neural spines, 1 caudal centrum, nearly complete right ilium, proximal region and shaft fragmetn of left ischium, left pubis, distal processes of left and right ischia.

IGM 5846 (formerly LACM 17705): 21 caudal vertebrae with haemal arches.

PRIETO-MARQUEZ, et al,. 2012 LACM 17705: Articulated series of 11 proximal caudal vertebrae.

IGM 5847 (formerly LACM 17706): Left tibia.

PRIETO-MARQUEZ, et al,. 2012 LACM 17706: Left tibia.

IGM 5848 (formerly LACM 20876): Left tibia.

PRIETO-MARQUEZ, et al,. 2012 LACM 20876: Left tibia.

IGM 5849 (formerly LACM 17711): Pathologic left tibia.

PRIETO-MARQUEZ, et al,. 2012 LACM 17711: Left tibia.

IGM 5850 (formerly LACM 17704): Sacrum, left femur and tibia, right humerus.

PRIETO-MARQUEZ, et al,. 2012 LACM 17704: Tibia and femoral fragment.

IGM 5851 (formerly LACM 20990): Ischium and dorsal vertebrae.

IGM 5852 (formerly LACM 17702): Caudal vertebra and distal ends of ischia.

PRIETO-MARQUEZ, et al,. 2012 LACM 17702: Cervical and dorsal rib fragments, one proximal and one distal caudal vertebra, centrum and neural arch of a proximal caudal vertebra, and eight caudal neural spine fragments.
